If bombers could breach 3 major dramas in North Germany, it would deprive a whole swathe of German industry of the water it needed. There was a problem though, no conventional bomb could breach the dams. The bombers would have to fly in at a low level, at precise speed and height, right into the barrels of the German guns, to place a unique, spherical bouncing bomb onto the surface of the water, so that it would skip, like a pebble, across the water and slam into the face of the dam as it exploded.
