| This is an unknown blow lamp blow lamp
manufactured in USA. The attachment on the burner is a soldering tip which turns the blow
lamp into a self heating soldering iron. |
Sometimes it can be very difficult to identify a
certain blow lamp as the markings made by the manufacturer was often unclear. Furthermore,
some manufacturers used stikers and decals as their only marking and these are often
damaged or have fallen off during years of use.
The purpose with this page is to help fellows blow lamp
collectors and others to identify their blow lamp. If you have a blow lamp you are unable
to identify, send me an e-mail with the details together with a picture and I will publish
it on this page.

notify myself so I can add the correct information about country, manufacturer, model and
other relevant information.

#1 This marking on the fuel tank shows a cat on stilts with the words
TRADE and MARK above and below the cat.
Does anyone know the manufacturer? |

#2 This one has been identified by Peter Schmiedeberg as beeing a
KOVOPODNIK Type SPL27C Ms and made in Czechoslovakia.

#3 This blow lamp is marked with Fairbanks Morse and is probably used
as starting aid for their glow bulb engines.
But who was the manufacturer? Hauck? |
