"I have two of these totes. I am a pilot and I keep one of these loaded with travel essentials so that I can leave at a moments notice. The other one I just purchased for an extended overseas trip. It worked out perfectly for me. It is very high quality and of excellent construction. If you are used to buying cheap bags you will find that this is a little heavier than you are used to. The extra weight goes with the indestructible fabric that they use. It was just the right size for an airline carry on. Although the airlines allow bigger ones, I find that if I already have a large bag in checked luggage, I want one this size for a carryon." "Excellent material and quality especially the padded shoulder strap. Some disappointments though since I wanted a smaller carry-on with a lot of outside pockets & capacity: (1) the outside zippered pockets are a bit too short for a bottle of water or umbrella to stand up(due to the space used for the shoulder strap buckle; (2)the opening at the top does not open up to the full top width of the the main compartment. Note that the advertised dimensions may not be accurate for comparison purpose (e.g. comparing to Travel Pro 3). The clearance price does compensate for these negatives."
