Welcome to the world of Erik Sandelin.

On this page you can read about my adventures in the outdoors.
Choose between my stories among the links on the left.

It's been a looong time since the last update, but last week we did an excellent ice-climbing trip to Laerdal in Norway.

Sport-climbing, sun and lots of sangria on Mallorca.

Winter-climbing and some serious power-lounging in the Norwegian mountains.

Ice-skating in on the sea. The sport of choice during Swedish winters.

The weather and darkness back here in Sweden gives me plenty of time to update the site. First to go is an account of a memorable climb Catrin and I did in King's Canyon this summer. We spent the 4th of July weekend on Charlotte Dome.

Here's a story of Scott's and mine adventure on Lone Pine Peak in September ( Sorry no pictures, and sorry english speakers, it's in swedish).

A poem inspired by a freezing belay on the frozen Widow's tears.

A short-story inspired by our El Cap climb.

An attempt to climb Lost Arrow Spire in Yosemite.

My brother visited me from Sweden this spring. Here's how he looks after a full day of climbing.

We made it! We climbed El Capitan and had a lot of scary fun!

We recovered from El Capitan by climbing Bear Creek Spire in the Sierra backcountry.

Some tricks I learned during our El Cap climb.
