White Punks on Dope

Some pictures from our epic on 'White Punks on Dope' on Voodo dome in the Needles. It is a classic climb with 6 pitches of sustained and varied climbing, including a hand crack, a roof, a chimney, an enduro layback corner which goes on forever, and to top it off, a full pitch of runout slab climbing. We found the climbing tough and finished just as the sun set after eight hours of climbing. We didn't find the trail and ended up bush-wacking in the dark for several hours, only to realise we had descended on the wrong side of the dome. However, all in all it was a nice adventure, with great climbing and a memorable descent. Kudos to my partners Miguel and Catrin for a great day in the mountains!
