Making a 2-Trans ALDL Cable

The 2-trans ALDL cable is simple to do, and wont need a +12v power source, here are the schematics Click to enlarge
Schematic
1. Solder the transistor leg (E) together with 2 100kOhms resistors into TxD(3) Click to enlarge
Step 1
2. Now solder transistor leg (C) together with a 10kOhms resistor into TxD(2) Click to enlarge
Step 2
3. Now solder the loose end of the 10k resisor in step2 into DTR(4) TOGETHER with a 27kOhm resistor Click to enlarge
Step 3
4. Now take the loose end of one of the 100k resistors in step1 and solder it to the transistor (B) in step 1 TOGETHER with a new 100kOhm resistor Click to enlarge
Step 4
5. Now add the diod onto the loose end of the latest added 100k resistor (Step 4) Click to enlarge
Step 5
6. Now solder the loose end of the last 100k resistor in step 1 on to a new transistor (B) and place in like the picture shows Click to enlarge
Step 6
7. Now solder together loose end of diod and the 27kohm resistor to the (C) on the latest added transistor, dont cut the (C) leg on the transistor yet. Click to enlarge
Step 7
8. Solder a wire into Gnd(5) together with (E) on the transistor and loose end of the 27kOhm AND a 10kOhms resistor. This wire is to be connected to ALDL pin A Click to enlarge
Step 8
9. Now solder a wire to the point where the diod/trans/res is soldered together, this wire goes to ALDL pin M Click to enlarge
Step 9
10. Solder a wire on to the loose end of the 10kOhm resistor, this wire goes to ALDL pin B Click to enlarge
Step 10
11. Put the whole package into a small box........ Click to enlarge
