My name is Kristian Ekstrand and I live in Jakobstad, Finland. My family contains of me, my wife Ulrika and son Frans who was born July the 22nd in 2002.

We have been building us a new house the last 3 years. I have done the most of the building my self. The only thing I didn't want to do my self was welding the steelframes for the big windows and installing the electricity. I even did the plastering of the walls my self(both in and outside). The house is heated with a system called Groundheating, which means that it works like a fridge but the opposite way. It's kind of complicated to explain shortly...

In July 2003 we finally could move in to the first floor, and finally up to the second floor tha day before Christmas 2003.

My other hobbies and interests are boating (preferably Wooden boats), gardening, and my oldest hobby is collecting butterflies....
