An interchange agreement between the G.V.R. and the M.A.T. has lead to the creation of NARA, the North American Railroad Alliance which has become a group of independantly owned North American shortline railroads who are working together under the umbrella of NARA to provide alternative rail service to both large and small rail customers from Canada in the north to Mexico in the south.
