| CoC CharGen is a Java2 application for generating
characters for Chaosium Inc's RPG
Call of Cthulhu (tm). It is available for all to use free of charge under the
GNU GPL. It has a SWING graphical user interface. CoC CharGen is based
on the 5'th Edition of Call of Cthulhu. It has been tested on Linux,
FreeBSD, Windows and MacOS.
The latest stable release (1.2) adds the possibility
to save the generated character.
The new 2.0 Alpha releases are a preview of how CoC
CharGen 2.0 will look. The latest (Alpha 5) is quite
stable, and adds a few new, nice features. For example,
it is now possible to export characters to HTML files.
Download it and give it a try!
As of V1.1 there is a MacOS X package
avaialble. It is maintained by Dominic von Stoesser.
The Mac package is now called MacCharGen X. |
