Born in Gothenburg, Sweden once upon a time, I now live, study and write in Ekaterinburg, (URAL MOUNTAINS), Russia. Prior to this I spent half a year in Saint Petersburg and 18 months in Omsk (SIBERIA). I enjoy writing awfully much, as this site will tell you. Yes, you guessed it, I do suffer from that old disease called "ambition". Generally I work hard and count my blessings every day.

Nothing but Perfection

Life has taught me:
When you can't make it, fake it.
When you can't smile, fake it.
When you can't laugh, fake it.
When they don't understand, hide it.
When you cry, hide it.
When you hurt, hide it.

Life has taught me:
When it hurts to walk in the sun,
stay in the shade.
When I can't look them in the eye,
I look away.
When they ask how I am,
let's pretend I'm fine.
When they tell me to cheer up,
let's pretend I will.
When they laugh at themselves,
let's pretend I can too.
When they say no one's perfect,
let's pretend I believe them.

Life has taught me:
pretending
faking
hiding
who I am
ain't nothing but perfection.

I won second place in a Poetry Slam competition with it in April 2004.
