However a standard 180° 5 pin DIN fits and has all the pins required. The connection between pins 5 and 3 powers up the coder only with the transmitter switch off. Hence there is no need to remove the crystal/ tx module while using FMS. (picoline, commander , cockpit MM mc2020, 2010 mf.) Digifleet, Omega  This works for the Omega range transmitters. Earlier transmitters require modification to add the pin 4 connection. FC18 (believe to also be the same for FC16 and FC28)
