This ride takes you just north of the forbidding mass of Bleaklow. 4) Glossop: Just a couple of miles from the start of the route at Hadfield (ie. not actually on the route), a sizeable industrial town surrounds the conservation area of Old Glossop. 5) The Trans-Pennine Trail: Extends in both directions from your day ride, which covers only a tiny part of it.
