At what point did you start growing your nails and how did that come about?
I got interested in nails when I was 12 or 13. But I never thought that I´d wear long nails myself one day. Long natural nails needs a lot of time/years.
What kind of length do you like the best?
My dream length or favourite length is 4 cm. I hope to reach 4 cm one day! But I don't like nails that are extremely twisted. Thats the reason why I don't like to grow my nails longer than this.
I assume you get some attention by strangers, do people ever stop you and ask questions?
Yes, a lot of people stop my every day to ask if my nails are real or not and think that I can't do anything with long nails like these. Most people never see long nails in their life, so they are very curious.
According to you, is there a difference between men & women in their opinoins of longnails, I mean do you get more attention from men or women?
Hmmm...there´s no difference, I think.
I´m sure there are some prejudiced people out there who seem to think that women that care much about their nails are shallow. Have you ever had any negative comments by strangers or people you know?
Once one person talked behind my back about me and said that I'm wearing long nails because I have psychic problems - but that don't affect me in any kind. Some people think that long nails are ugly and talk about me but its not a problem for me because everybody has different opinions.
What do you do in your everyday life? Are there any activities you pursue that makes you cut them down from time to time?
First of all, I would never cut my nails. There are no things that causes problems for me! In the future I have chosen a job that won´t hurt my nails. Right now I'm a student and will attend a language school in september 2003 .
Are you blessed with strong nails or do you have to strengthen them? (Acrylics etc)
My nails are natural but I think "blessed" is not the right word, because almost every women can have long natural nails, if they want to. Its hard work and you have to love long nails. But nobody is blessed with long nails - what a pity. ;-)
I read somewhere that you find long nails up to 5 cm beautiful too. Would you ever try to have them that long or is that too much work?
It's not too much work, but 5 cm long nails is beautiful on other women - not me.
Do you enjoy giving backrubs?
I say: I love my nails - so I love to use my nails!
Have you accidently hurt anyone with your nails?
Not life-threatening ;-) - no, I haven´t scratched somebody accidently very often.
If you were dating a guy that really really hated long nails, would that be a problem for you?
Oh, I think it would be a problem. But I have never met someone who hates long nails. :-)
Have you dated someone that didn´t like them? And what does your current boyfriend think of them?
My former boyfriend thought, it doesn´t matter if a girl have long nails or not. Maybe because he was very young. But I know he liked my nails!! Especially the touch of long nails... But I hope I will have a relationship with a man who love nails in the same way as I in the future....
There are some sites that are selling clipped nails from various LNB:s. What do you think about that? Would you ever sell your clipped nails to people who want them or is that too freaky?
:-) Earlier when I grew my nails, I kept all the broken nails. And then I became acquainted with someone, who would buy my broken nails. I don't understand what other people would like to do with my nails, but now I understand it. And: Yes, I sell my broken nails! But I never cut a nail for money!
For me, I like unpolished nails best or french manicure. What colors do you like?
I like all colors, but it´s a pity that I can use varnish only from time to time, because nail-varnish is not good for natural nails. The color red and black is very expressive.
Would you ever consider having a mpeg file of your nails in action for us to see?
Yes, its a good idea...maybe I will do this soon...
We all know USA is the home for all nailfreaks. Sweden so-so. England no-no. Pakistan hell-no. But how about Germany? Are longnailed women in Germany a common sight?
In Germany, women with long nails is very very rare sight. I never have seen or known another woman with long nails. And the men who love long nails are very rare too - I think - compared to USA.
Will there ever be a face picture of you or are you satisfied just showing your nails?
There will be a face picture in the future but I don't know when...it will be a surprise!

Why did you start growing them long and why does you keep them long?
The first one is a difficult question. There is no reason why I started to grow my nails - it was coming... And now my nails are my passion and I can't life without long nails. I love them, I think they represent feminine and elegance.

No, unfortunately my nails are strong but not that strong. I can´t open soda cans with only my nails. But I'm glad that my nails are strong enough to grow very long...
